TECHNICAL DIVING
Welcome to our technical diving page. Due to recent events and demands we will be conducting technical diving courses.
Mark Powell is one of the UK's leading technical diving instructors. He has built a reputation as being a very thorough instructor with teaching methods that get the most out of divers looking to develop along the technical diving path.
Mark had his first experience of diving at the age of 10 when he did a try-dive in a local pool. He was hooked from that point onwards. He then learnt to dive with the University of Sussex Sub Aqua Club whilst at university in Brighton in 1987.
Mark became an instructor in 1994 and has been actively instructing since then. In 2002 Mark set up Dive-Tech, a dedicated technical diving facility, with the intention of providing the highest quality technical diving training. He has been a full time diving instructor since then.
Mark holds instructor rating with a variety of agencies including TDI, SDI, PSAI, ITDA, IHMP, SAA, BSAC and CMAS. He is a member of the British Diving Safety Group, HSE recreational diving committee, BSI committee for recreational diving standards. He has served on the Executive Committee of the SAA and advises on technical diving issues.
