Overview
Nuweiba is situated around 70km north of Dahab and its palm-fringed beaches nestle magnificently between the deep blue of the Gulf of Aqaba and the stunning mountains of the Sinai. Nuweiba offers a quiet getaway with some fantastic shore diving that makes this resort a great choice for novice divers, snorkellers and underwater photography fans.
Nuweiba is still in its infancy and most tourist activity is confined to the hotel, that said, the nearby St Catherine's Monastery and the Coloured Canyon makes for some great day trips. It is also one of the best places to organise a camel trip into the dramatic mountains that back the resort. Its proximity to the borders of Israel and Jordan make it an ideal base from which to explore these fascinating countries.
  
Accommodation
Hilton Nuweiba Coral Resort is situated approximately 2 1/2 hours drive from Sharm El Sheikh airport. This lovely all-inclusive hotel offers beautiful and spacious surroundings for a relaxing stay. This hotel boasts an on-site dive centre and a spectacular location, overlooking the desert and the sea, with stunning views across the water to the mountains of Saudi Arabia. All rooms have balcony, air-conditioning, en-suite bath, shower and WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, mini-bar, telephone and safety deposit box. Other facilities include 2 swimming pools, private beach, variety of restaurants and bars, disco, tennis, squash, volleyball, watersports, mini-golf, table tennis, pool table, shop, currency exchange and internet access.
Diving
   
We will again dive with the highly professional well commended Emperor Divers. If you have never dived with them before you are in for a treat, they are truly living up to their many awards and takes your experience just that little bit further.
The prolific marine life and the easily accessible shore diving available in Nuweiba are ideal for underwater photography. The beautiful dive sites, reached by jeep, and the house reefs promise some spectacular scenery. Be amazed by multicoloured nudibranchs, several species of seahorse, stonefish, frogfish and many more. The house reef is even home to more than 20 lionfish!!
The reefs of the Abu Galum National Park are a highlight of a week's diving in Nuweiba. The variety of marine life is outstanding, with many barracuda, groupers, angelfish, butterflyfish, moray eels and even turtles.
Ras Shetan or Devil's Head is a well-known site for its incredible underwater topography with snaking valleys and basins, beautiful soft corals, sea grass and a superb lagoon.
