Deep Diver
Course Outline and Benefits
The Deep Diver Specialty course offers you the opportunity of a lifetime - going deep to see things others can only dream about.
In this course you will experience what it’s like to dive deeper than 30 meters.
Down there, it’s different so it takes additional training but you will soon see the benefits of being a deep diver.
Upon successful completion of the course, the PADI Deep Diver Specialty certification card is awarded. You may also apply for the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating if you are a PADI Rescue Diver or has a qualifying certification from another organisation with certification in four other PADI Specialty ratings.
Course Requirements
Be certified as a PADI Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another organisation
Be 15 years of age or older
Experience diving beyond 18 metres/60 feet
Course Itinerary
During this course you will learn deep dive planning, organisation, procedures, techniques and hazards. You will do four open water dives that range from 18 - 40 metres / 60 - 130 feet and gain experience with diving deep under the direct, professional supervision of a PADI Instructor. |
